Star Wars: Hunters Review
If you’ve ever wanted to play as an Overwatch player, check out Star Wars: Hunters Review. This free Nintendo Switch game (also available on Android and iOS) is a usable but uninspired team-based shooter set in a galaxy far, far away. The character concept uses this right in a fun way, but the game drags you down the Sarlacc pit of microtransactions. Star Wars: Hunters is a lot of fun, but chances are you’ve played something similar.
Gameplay
Star Wars: Hunters Awakens is a first-person shooter for teams of four. Success is all about strategy and teamwork, not active participation in battles between armies. Your team is locked into a game mode where you are forced to maximize kills or control your territory. Popular locations include the Endor Forest and the Tatooine Desert.
Advanced heroes have different moves and behaviors, adding an extra edge. While the upcoming Marvel Rivals and other Disney Overwatch clones let you play as superheroes, Star Wars: Hunters Review lets you control the original characters from the movies in a space-based game. However, another famous Star Wars character immediately comes to mind. For example, the Mandalorian Oran Tall is simply Boba Fett. Rivlet can be anyone with a unique personality.
Hunters are a mix of damage, support, and tank, so you need to consider the composition of your team. However, there are differences between the categories. Writers often use Star Wars: Hunters Review stories to give characters special abilities. Grozz the Wookie is a tank that can jump, grab, and throw opponents into walls. Another tank, the Sentinel Assault Tank, was waiting for the defenders to make a final move. Utuni’s damage output is two small Jawas stacked on top of each other, which is awesome.
This is where creativity comes in. When I played Star Wars: Hunters Review, I thought I could play with characters inspired by it (like Team Fortress 2). Contrast this with Star Wars Jedi: Survivor, which introduced a lot of changes to the use of Star Wars filters. The only moment in a Star Wars game that surprised me was when a producer stunned an enemy.
Star Wars: Hunters Review Awakens is a strange game. Perhaps because it moved away from PC and other consoles and is now available on mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch. Weapons are usable, and melee characters are a good option.
Graphics and Multiplayer
Star Wars: Hunters is an acceptable, if basic, picture. The character designs are somewhat polished, but the graphics don’t fit into the cartoonish aesthetic of Clone Wars (an aspect that I find very bad). Star Wars: Hunters Review runs smoothly, except for some texture-loading issues that I noticed early on in the game.
At first, you can only play casual games, but as you gain experience, you can play more sequential games and special features. You can play alone or with friends. The game also features a competition between mobile devices and the Nintendo Switch.
Heavy Monetization
Star Wars: Hunters Review Awakens is a mobile game from Zynga, so it’s no surprise that it has an aggressive free-to-play model. However, it’s annoying. There’s a Battle Pass with free and premium songs, a store full of cosmetics, and the option to pay directly instead of downloading content. A thousand crystals cost $10, which is enough to unlock one character.
Those playing the free version aren’t out of luck. You unlock characters and improve their abilities using experience points you earn as you play. You get a lot of characters, but the speed at which they unlock slows down as you play. At least, unlike MultiVersus, you can try out each character before you buy.
Even if you avoid spending money, trying to earn money will ruin the game. The user interface is a constant cacophony of pop-ups and notifications demanding your attention and money. Claim your reward! Check your daily quests! Check out this limited-time offer! Navigating the menus and playing can be difficult. There’s something funny about listening to music from the epic Star Wars saga, as the game pokes fun at the legendary lightsaber, which looks like an ordinary iron rod.
Verdict: This Force Is Too Familiar
Sorry, Star Wars is the most popular game, but it’s not the only one I play. Of course, the Star Wars franchise is a big deal in the household. Also, it’s worth mentioning that Star Wars: Hunters is a woman and a hater. If you play F2P games and have control, you will love the gameplay and have a lot of fun.
